Benefit Dinner For Lake Logan Group A Success

A fundraising dinner for the Lake Logan Association, on April 25 at the Scenic Hills Senior Center in Logan,was very successful, according to its organizers. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the LLAand a restorative project to save Lake Logan.
1st LLA Parade on The Lake

The Lake Logan Association revived a long-standing tradition by hosting a watercraft parade on the lake, featuring a fishing derby for kids, followed by a picnic at the shelter.

During our visit to Ohio University campus in Athens, we met with many formidable students who signed almost 100 petitions!
Petition Drive at Frozen Festival

During the 7th Annual Frozen Festival in Downtown Logan, members of the community enjoyed the ice sculpture of the Lake Logan Association and signed the petition to Save The Lake. Between online and wet signature we reached 4,188 signatures!

During the annual Christmas Parade hosted by the City of Logan, members of the LLA were able to gather 63 signatures bringing our total count above 2,000!

150 signatures collected. Future generations of the LLA were hard at work where they distributed handmade brochures and promoted the protection of Lake Logan. Total signatures count above 1,600.

Yesterday, the LLA Outreach Team was at OSU campus and collected 65 signatures in less than 2 hours, bringing the total signature count above 1,300.

On Monday, November 20th, a meeting with ODNR Ohio State Parks & Watercraft Chief Glen Cobb & associates, Asst Chief Dobney, Project Manager Judi Goss, Dredge Administrator Tom Grabow, District Manager Mike Jarvis, Park Manager Brent Bendele, Dam Tender Pete George took place at their Columbus office.
Shoreline Management Plan Lake Logan State Park
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Watercraft published the Shoreline Management Plan that includes guidelines and future actions.
